On the book blog we will discuss books that we are reading together in the media center. Here at Dean Road Elementary School we have Lunch Bunch  and Fantastic Fridays that allow us to share great books with small groups in a book study fashion. Lunch Bunch is held on Wednesdays with 3rd graders who visit the media center and eat while the Media Specialist reads the book and then a group discussion is held. Fantastic Fridays are held each Friday and is a schedule that allows small groups from each grade level to visit the media center and participate in author studies and book groups. I look forward to working with each student and sharing many great books!
